Elana Gabrielle // Heirloom Linen Hand Towels

$36.00

These sunny and cheerful heirloom linen hand towels from Elana Gabrielle's studio in Portland, Oregon are inspired by languid summers, evenings in the garden, fresh fruit and vine ripened tomatoes.

These  versatile linen towels are dyed with earth-friendly pigments and screen printed with water-based inks on heirloom-quality flax linen fabric with a lovely tactile feel, soft supple texture, and high absorbency. Perfect for garden parties, picnics, under serving dishes, and so much more. Elana sources her linen from a small family-owned business in Lithuania, chosen specifically for their traditional and ethically produced flax. This soft and sturdy linen inhibits the growth of bacteria and microflora and is a wonderful, sustainable home textile.

Ships as one 18" x 26” heirloom linen tea towel (with hang loop)

•Materials: 100% traditional and ethically produced flax linen, water-based ink, earth-friendly dyes

•Care: Machine wash cool or warm with like colors and mild detergent. Tumble dry low or line dry. Iron while damp.

About Elana Gabrielle:

Elana Gabrielle is a multidisciplinary illustrator, maker, and designer of printed textile and paper goods based in Portland, Oregon. Her work is influenced by the wild and varied landscapes of the West Coast where she grew up, from misty mountains and foggy beaches to dusty desert valleys. Using cut paper collage, painting, screen printing, and textile design, she weaves the natural world into her creations.

Elena's handmade goods mirror the environment by focusing on form and function, as well as using sustainable practices and natural fibers, dyes, and inks. Her creations invite mindful interaction with nature both in the home and in the wild as a nurturing of self and space and encourage care for the world around you.
