*Maker's note: Neroli has a very interesting history as a prized perfume ingredient. In ancient times, Egyptian priests and priestesses used this precious oil as both tribute and as incense during their rituals and ceremonies. In the 17th century the princess of Nerola, Italy, so loved the scent that she added neroli to perfume her bath, as well as her clothing, making it her signature and all the rage. Neroli is kind of wild, yet understated, like that.
