*Maker's note: I've always loved the fresh, spicy scent and simple, cheerful, ruffled beauty of the carnation– one of oldest cultivated flowers that's believed to have been around since ancient times.The Latin name for carnation is Dianthus caryophyllus, which loosely translates to 'flower of love' / 'flower of gods', and this humble beauty has been grown and given as a symbol of love and purity across cultures for centuries. They are traditionally gifted on first anniversaries as a symbol of ongoing love and devotion. To me, carnations represent the underdog of the floral world...the shy, reserved, late blooming, slightly nerdy type that gets completely underestimated and taken for granted until they end up starting a tech company that takes over the universe.

To enjoy a perfect burn, allow your candle to form a complete wax melt pool across the top during first burn...this ensures your candle will burn evenly and beautifully down the sides of the container. Trim your wick to around 1/4" before each burn thereafter, snipping off any soot ball that accumulates.
