Behind the Scent: No. 24 Denning's Point

Behind the Scent: No. 24 Denning's Point

Inspired by a favorite hike in Beacon, Denning’s Point is an estuary and nature trail on the eastern bank of the Hudson river. Dappled sun in the trees, wild vines and flowers, secluded riverbanks, driftwood, tidal and marsh smells, and abandoned ruins of brickworks and factories to stumble upon and explore from an era gone by. A place of magic and quiet majesty that allows your mind and feet to wander. This scent is as beautiful, watery, deep, and complex as its namesake.

Top notes: Sea salt, bergamot, orange, lemon zest
Middle notes: Hyacinth, blue lilies, sparkling cassis
Base notes: Patchouli, sea grass

Scent profile: Watery, Floral, Complex

Giving back feels good! Ten percent from each sale of our Denning's Point 1oz eau de parfum and 8.5oz candle will be donated directly to Scenic Hudson for ongoing land preservation efforts in the Hudson Valley.

*Maker's note: Denning's Point is not only delovely as a perfume and candle, but it becomes truly amplified and glorious when it contacts water. Truly fabulous as a scent choice in our Botanical Body Wash or Luxe Botanical Hand Wash!

Denning's Point is my favorite place to hike, think, dream, recharge, and get in tune with mama nature. The area is filled with history and mystery from Beacon's industrial past...the ruins of the Denning's Point Brickworks is a favorite place to visit. Even Atlas Obscura thinks it's pretty rad.
